What is Damage Protection?

VRDP (Vacation Renters Damage Protection), protects vacationers against the financial risk associated with accidental damage caused by a guest while renting a vacation property. It is offered in lieu of collecting damage deposits or holding a Personal Check against potential damage. Both of these are a hassle and often ineffective. Renters don’t like tying up cash for an extended period and resent having to do so. It also eliminates the uncomfortable conversation with guests with claims that the damage was in place when they arrived. VRDP Accidental Damage Protection is available in either $500 $1,500 or $3,000 coverage amounts.
